The ensemble cast is led by Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, a slacker musician who is trying to win a competition to get a record deal, while also battling the seven evil exes of his new girlfriend Ramona Flowers. The soundtrack was executive produced by Nigel Godrich with Edgar Wright and includes a number of original tracks composed by Beck and performed in the film by Sex Bob-Omb the band featuring star Michael Cera on bass along with a previously unreleased track from Metric and tracks from Broken Social Scene, Beachwood Sparks, The Bluetones, Blood Red Shoes, Black Lips and Frank Black.
